This is my absolute favorite cafe, I go here almost daily. The atmosphere is cozy with your quiet relaxing music, the food really is great, the coffee is delicious, they have the sweetest staff you will meet and the owner is such a lovely person. If you haven't been here, I strongly recommend paying them a visit.
Highly recommend this cafe. It was so good we ended up visiting multiple times while in Halifax. Really tasty food, good range of sandwiches or little meals (the shakshuka is delicious) hot drinks are all delicious too. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and attentive. The decor is tasteful and well thought out, cute touches. I also got very excited by all the new birds I’m seeing in Canada so loved that our favourite cafe was also linked!
I would call this place an example of a small cozy café with pleasant unobtrusive music that suits the place, and with tasty coffee menu. We ordered Americano Misto & Cafe Au Lait. Two different muffins(berry) & two cookies(chocolate, caramel-ginger). Cookies were normal but I really liked muffins more. Much more, they were very tasty and soft. And I really liked their coffee, I tried both. In addition, in the second menu there are many different options to eat, we did not order fool food here, but when the cook was preparing something, I smelled a very pleasant smell, something between cheese and caramel. Although I prefer to constantly find new places, I will definitely return here from time to time. And I advise you to do the same.
First time in Halifax. There are a lot of good restaurants here. Haligonians sure like to eat well! This cafe definitely sits atop all the rest. We stayed 5 days, I've been here three times. Great dark roast coffee. Amazing sandwiches, paninis, and breakfast wraps. I'm glad I stopped by

I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk. The ambiance is lovely, and the coffee is excellent. This charming little cafe on Barrington Street features a friendly staff. I highly recommend it!
